• This weekend at Richmond Raceway will be Tony Mrakovich’s first-career race in any NASCAR series
• Friday’s event will only be Mrakovich’s fifth start in a stock car; his other four starts are in the ARCA Racing Series
• The Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania native’s most-recent stock car start was in this year’s ARCA season-opener at Daytona International Speedway
• Both Mrakovich and teammate Kaz Grala are 19 years old, with Mrakovich only seven days younger
• JGL Racing has made 14 previous starts at Richmond Raceway with a best finish of 12th (Dylan Lupton, April of 2017)
• Mrakovich was originally scheduled to make his debut in Bristol, but NASCAR made the decision to delay his debut until a more forgiving racetrack

“I am extremely eager for the race at Richmond Raceway this Friday. I’m really looking for some redemption after a very off weekend at Bristol. Nothing seemed to go right, so we will be going out with a little something to prove. Everyone at JGL has worked very hard and I hope to earn them the finish they deserve.”

JGL Racing fields two entries in the NASCAR Xfinity Series as it continues its growth in the NASCAR arena. Led by successful entrepreneur James Whitener, the Denver, North Carolina-based team prides itself in its proven product both on and off the track. The team charged into the 2018 season with a manufacturer switch to Ford and a technical alliance with Roush Fenway Racing. 19-year-old racer Kaz Grala pilots the team’s No. 24 Ford Mustang, while Dylan Lupton will be behind the wheel of the No. 28 Ford Mustang for a majority of the season.
